Skills required for

Composing

Composition follows the planning stage of prewriting. When composing, students choose the language and the structure of their written expression, and they make decisions about what information and ideas to include, and which to leave out. We compose when we transform a set of jot-notes or a visual mind map into a first draft. One way to ensure composition is efficient and effective it to base it on a helpful plan created while prewriting.
